This is a very good AJAX shoutbox plugin that I have used for as long as I can remember. The latest version has a lot of built in spam filtering features. The colours can be customized and it automatically adjusts it’s width according to the sidebar width. I recommend this plugin. A shoutbox provides some entertainment on your blog if you have a lot of readers.
